BRIER PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
November 7, 2012
7:00 PM
Chairman Marley called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:05:51 PM.
ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Commissioner Marley, Smith, Scott, Weston, Myers and Carroll; Councilmember Kaemingk.
ABSENT: Commissioner Kolden.
STAFF: City Planner Gaudette.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Chairman Marley opened for consideration approval of the July 18, 2012 Planning Commission minutes. Commissioner Smith made a MOTION to approve the July 18, 2012 Planning Commission minutes. Commissioner Myers SECONDED. Motion Carried. Commissioner Scott abstained.
Chairman Marley opened for consideration approval of the August 15, 2012 Planning Commission minutes. Commissioner Weston made a MOTION to approve the August 15, 2012 Planning Commission minutes. Commissioner Scott SECONDED.
Motion Carried. Commissioners Smith and Marley abstained.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Councilmember Kaemingk discussed recent City Council activity.
PUBLIC REQUESTS & ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.
NEW BUSINESS:
Chairman Marley opened for consideration discussion and approval to forward the Planning Commission Annual Report to the City Council. Commissioner Smith made a MOTION to approve to forward the Planning Commission Annual Report to the City Council with the following changes: change the overall date to November 7, 2012 and the October 17, 2012 meeting to lack of quorum. Commissioner Myers SECONDED. Motion Carried.
Chairman Marley opened for consideration discussion of a few rough draft codes. City planner Gaudette gave an overview of the proposed changes to Title 6, Animals. There was Commissioner discussion.
City Planner Gaudette gave an overview of the proposed changes to Chapter 19.16, Tree Preservation Ordinance. There was Commissioner discussion.
ADJOURNMENT:
Commissioner Myers made a MOTION to adjourn. Commissioner Scott SECONDED. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:38:04 PM.
