Chairman Marley called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:05:50 PM.

ROLL CALL:

PRESENT:                                  Commissioner Marley, Scott, Weston, Wirch and Rosman; Councilmember Kaemingk.

ABSENT:                                    Commissioner Myers and Carroll.

STAFF:                                       City Planner Gaudette.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Chairman Marley opened for consideration approval of the February 19, 2014 Planning Commission minutes. Commissioner Weston made a MOTION to approve the February 19, 2014 Planning Commission minutes. Commissioner Rosman SECONDED. Motion Carried. Commissioner Scott abstained.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Councilmember Kaemingk discussed recent City Council activity.

PUBLIC REQUESTS & ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

Chairman Marley opened for discussion Conditional Use Permit #14-01, for modifications to an existing personal wireless communications facility for Verizon Wireless. City Planner Gaudette gave an overview of the modifications and recommends approval to City Council.  Madeline Chaney spoke on behalf of Verizon Wireless, they will meet all requirements for the Conditional Use Permit. The Public Hearing was opened at 7:28:37 PM. 

Lilly Burnham of Brier, is upset that the current area has not been maintained. As long as the applicant follows through with the Staff recommendations, she will be happy.

The Public Hearing was closed at 7:32:37 PM.

Commissioner Weston made a MOTION to recommend approval to City Council for Conditional Use Permit #CU14-01 to modify the existing personal wireless communications facility with Staff recommendations. Commissioner Scott SECONDED. Motion carried.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:

City Planner Gaudette gave an overview of upcoming and completed projects within the City.
