Chairman Pro-Tem Rosman called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:08:23 PM.

ROLL CALL:

PRESENT:                                  Commissioner DeMorett, Marley, Rosman, Thorpe, Scott and Wirch.

ABSENT:                                    Commissioner Weston; Councilmember Kaemingk.

STAFF:                                       City Planner Gaudette.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Chairman Pro-Tem Rosman opened for consideration approval of the August 19, 2015 Planning Commission minutes. Commissioner DeMorett made a MOTION to approve the August 19, 2015 Planning Commission Minutes. Commissioner Wirch SECONDED. Motion Carried.

COMMITTEE REPORTS: None.

PUBLIC REQUESTS & ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

Chairman Pro-Tem Rosman opened for review Conditional Use Permit #CUP15-01, for a secondary dwelling unit for Al M. Rogojan at 23824 Brier Rd. City Planner Guadette gave an overview of the permit with a recommendation of approval with conditions to City Council.

The Public Hearing was opened at 7:18:12 PM.

Dulnath Wijayratne of Brier, asked if the retaining wall the applicant recently built, structurally has the capacity to handle the construction that will take place.

The Public Hearing was closed at 7:21:07 PM.

Commissioner Marley made a MOTION to recommend approval to City Council, Conditional Use Permit #CUP15-01, for a secondary dwelling unit for Al M. Rogojan at 23824 Brier Rd with the 7 conditions recommended by staff. Commissioner Scott SECONDED. Motion carried.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:

Commissioner Marley recommended reviewing the duration of conditional use permits to give the applicant more then six months before expiration.
