Chairman Pro-Tem DeMorret called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:02 PM.

ROLL CALL:

Present: Commissioners Weston, Rosman, DeMorret, Jonart. Councilmember Gallagher.

Absent: Commissioners Marley, Scott.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Chairman Pro-Tem DeMorret opened for consideration approval of the May 24, 2017 Planning Commission minutes. Motion:  to approve the May 24, 2017 Planning Commission minutes, Moved by Commissioner Rosman, Seconded by Commissioner Jonart. Motion Carried

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Councilmember Gallagher discussed recent City Council activity.

PUBLIC REQUESTS & ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:

Mayor Colinas introduced Boy Scout Troop 67.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

Chairman Pro-Tem DeMorret opened the Public Hearing for consideration of 2017 Comprehensive Plan Amendments at 7:08 PM. City Planner Balisky gave a detailed review of the amendments to the Capital Facility Element.

Commissioner DeMorret suggested some editorial changes.

Commissioner Weston asked if the fire station should be added as an essential facility.

Motion: to recommend approval to City Council, amendments to the Capital Facility Element in the Comprehensive Plan, with the suggested editorial changes, Moved by Commissioner Weston, Seconded by Commissioner Rosman. Motion Carried

The Public Hearing was closed at 7:27 PM.
