called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioner Kolden, Commissioner Rosman,
Commissioner DeMorret, Commissioner Hanson and Councilmember Gallagher. Commissioner Weston arrived at 7:07 PM.
Absent: Commissioner Marley and Commissioner Jonart.
Staff: Planner Flathman.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

opened for consideration approval of the June 20, 2018 Planning Commission
minutes. Motion: Approve the June 20,
2018 Planning Commission minutes. Moved
by Commissioner Hanson, Seconded by
Commissioner Rosman. Motion Carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Councilmember Gallagher discussed
recent City Council activity.
PUBLIC REQUESTS & ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
Chairman
Pro-Tem DeMorret opened the Public Hearing for
Conditional Use Permit No. CU18-01, to allow the repair of an existing septic
system located at 2426 236th St SW, at 7:04 PM.
City
Planner Flathman gave an overview of the permit with a recommendation for
approval to City Council.
Jeff
Blyth, the applicant, explained his need for the septic system repair.
Commissioner
DeMorret asked how close is the nearest City sewer connection.
Commissioner
Rosman asked how many homes in this area are on City sewer.
Commisioner Weston asked what are the repairs going to entail.
The
Public Hearing closed at 7:17 PM.
There
was Commissioner discussion.
Motion: Recommend approval for
Conditional Use Permit No. CU18-01, to allow the repair of an existing septic
system located at 2426 236th St SW to City Council. Moved by Commissioner Rosman, Seconded by Commissioner Weston. Motion
Carried.
