BRIER PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES

Chairman Marley called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to
order at 7:01 PM.

Present: Commissioner
Marley, Weston, DeMorret, Jonart, Hanson and Councilmember Gallagher.
Absent: Commissioner Rosman and Kolden.
Staff: City Planner Flathman.
APPROVAL
OF MINUTES:
Chairman Marley
opened for consideration approval of the April 17, 2019 Planning Commission
minutes. Motion: Approve the April 17, 2019 Planning Commission minutes,
Moved by Commissioner DeMorret, Seconded by Commissioner Hanson.
Motion Carried.
COMMITTEE
REPORTS:
Councilmember
Gallagher discussed recent City Council activity.
PUBLIC
REQUESTS & ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.
NEW BUSINESS:
Chairman
Marley opened for review the proposed update for the 2019-2025 Capital
Facilities Element of the Comprehensive Plan. City Planner Flathman gave a
review of the updates in the Capital Facilities Element.
Chairman
Marley suggested verifying with the school district, the accuracy of the capacity
numbers.
Commissioner
Weston asked to check into when was the transportation improvements last
calculated for the schools.
Commissioner
Weston clarified that the south side of 228th Street Southwest, east
of Brier Road, would be where the sidewalk improvements would take place.
