BRIER PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
June 19, 2019
7:00 PM
Chair Pro-Tem DeMorret called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:01 PM.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioners Rosman, DeMorret, Jonart, Hanson, Councilmember Gallagher. Commissioner Weston arrived at 7:04 PM.
Absent: Commissioner Marley and Kolden.
Staff: Planner Flathman.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Chair Pro-Tem DeMorret opened for consideration approval of the May 15, 2019 Planning Commission minutes. Motion: Approve the May 15, 2019 Planning Commission minutes, Moved by Commissioner Rosman, Seconded by Commissioner Hanson. Motion Carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Councilmember Gallagher discussed recent City Council activity.
PUBLIC REQUESTS & ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
- Chair Pro-Tem DeMorret opened the Public Hearing for Conditional Use Permit No. CU19-02 to construct a secondary dwelling unit; Conditional Use Permit No. CU19-03 to install a septic system and drainfield; Critical Areas Review No. CAR19-02 review report findings, located at 22301 Hickory Way at 7:03 PM.
City Planner Flathman gave a review of the permits.
Commissioner Hanson asked if an arborist has been consulted in regards to the trees located in the drainfield.
The Public Hearing closed at 7:15 PM.
Motion: Recommend approval to City Council for Conditional Use Permit No. CU19-02 to construct a secondary dwelling unit; Conditional Use Permit No. CU19-03 to install a septic system and drainfield; Critical Areas Review No. CAR19-02 review report findings, located at 22301 Hickory Way, Moved by Commissioner Rosman, Seconded by Commissioner Weston. Motion Carried.
- Chair Pro-Tem DeMorret opened the Public Hearing for Conditional Use Permit No. CU19-04 to install a septic system and drainfield, located at 22815 27th Avenue West at 7:17 PM.
City Planner Flathman gave a review of the permit.
Commissioner Hason advised that he owns a property within 300 feet of the proposed lot.
The Public Hearing closed at 7:22 PM.
Motion: Recommend approval to City Council for Conditional Use Permit No. CU19-04 to install a septic system and drainfield, located at 22815 27th Avenue West, Moved by Commissioner Weston, Seconded by Commissioner Jonart. Motion Carried.
ADJOURNMENT:
Motion: Adjourn, Moved by Commissioner Rosman, Seconded by Commissioner Jonart. Motion Carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:23 PM.
