The driver was not the registered owner however did possess a suspended license. Search of vehicle incident to arrest located paraphernalia belonging to the 26 year of age passenger from Brier. Both parties were issued citations and released. Vehicle was impounded. APRIL 25, 2007 WEAPON. 22200 block Brier Rd. Received report from school official that students had observed another student, 13 year of age white male from Mountlake Terrace, with a set of brass knu;ckles. Search of student did not locate them. APRIL 26, 2007 TRAFFIC / POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA / POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA. 23000 block of Atlas Road. 21 year of age white female from Bothell driving a 2000 Ford Explorer was stopped for Expired Vehicle License. Odor of marijuana detected. Search of vehicle by narcotics dog located marijuana and paraphernalia. Driver was issued citations for the violations and released. APRIL 27, 2007 TRAFFIC. 2900 block of 228 St SW. 22 year of age Hispanic male from Lynnwood driving a 1993 Ford Probe was stopped as record check on vehicle license plate showed registered owner's driving status suspended. The driver was not the registered owner however did possess a suspended license. Driver was cited and released. Vehicle was impounded. APRIL 29, 2007 ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. 3600 block of Alaska Road. 50 year of age white female from Mountlake Terrace attempted suicide by overdose of prescription medication. Subject was transported to hospital by aid. APRIL 30, 2007 TRAFFIC. 21400 block of 36 Av W. 51 year of age white male from Mountlake Terrace driving a 1996 Jeep Cherokee was stopped as record check on vehicle license plate showed registered owner's driving status suspended. Driver was identified as the registered owner and was cited and released. Vehicle left legally parked at the scene. STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY. 3700 block of 235 Pl W. Homeowner located a 1991 Honda Civic in his driveway which did not belong to him. The homeowner located paperwork in the vehicle and phoned the vehicle owner who had reported the vehicle stolen out of Lake Forest Park. Vehicle was released to registered owner. MAY 1, 2007 THEFT. 22900 block 29 Av W. 69 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) took his air blower from the back of his work truck. Blower is valued at $400.00. MAY 2, 2007 TRAFFIC. 3300 block 236 St SW. Citizen reported vehicle in a ditch. Investigation found 49 year of age white female from Brier had backed up too far from the residence across the street and had landed in the ditch. MAY 3, 2007 TRAFFIC. 21200 block Poplar Way. 33 year of age white female from Bothell driving a 2000 Chevy S10 pickup stopped as check showed the registered owner's driving status suspended. She was identified as the registered owner and cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree. In addition, she was found to have a warrant out of Bothell. Bothell took custody of subject. Vehicle left secured at scene. Unknown who opened the account or how her personal information was accessed ATTEMPTED FRAUD. 3500 block 223 Pl SW. 45 year of age white male from Brier reports finding out from his credit card company that someone had tried to obtain credit in his name. Information was gained through text message documentation between the two teenagers. Parent brought her 13 year of age white male son into the police station as she found him in possession of suspected marijuana and a pipe. Subject was counseled and released. MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 22000 block of Vine Road. 63 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) placed a plastic garbage can in his pond blocking the drainage which caused the water level to rise. No actual damage occurred. BURGLARY / VEHICLE PROWL / MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 3600 block of 232 St SW. Two 13 year of age juvenile males, one from Mountlake Terrace and one from Brier, entered the elementary school library through unlocked door and removed miscellaneous items and caused damage. The subjects also entered unlocked vehicles in the area taking miscellaneous items. The subjects were released to their parents and will be referred to Juvenile Prosecutor's Office. APRIL 17, 2007 TRAFFIC COLLISION / DUI. 22000 block of Vine Road. 26 year of age Asian male from Bothell driving a 2007 Acura MDX drove off the road slicing through a utility pole and came to rest against a large tree. Investigation found the subject to be Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol. The driver was transported from the scene by aid. No serious injuries reported. Vehicle removed from scene by tow. APRIL 14, 2007 POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY. 3200 block of 232 St SW. 1991 Jeep Wrangler was stopped as record check on vehicle license plate showed it stolen out of Seattle. The 28 year of age white female driver from Everett was subsequently arrested and booked into jail for Possession of Stolen Property. Two female passengers were released from the scene. Vehicle returned to owner. BURGLARY. 23400 block of 29 Av W. 45 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered his detached garage by forcing open the door and removed numerous tools. Upon investigating, he found a male whom he recognized as an friend of his son attempting to steal an X-box and Nintendo Wii game systems. Suspect jumped out window and fled the scene by vehicle. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY. 23700 block Brier Road. 52 year of age white male from Brier contacted the police department regarding his house alarm that had gone off earlier and stated he found his revolver lying on the ground which had not been there when he left for work. Nothing missing from home. APRIL 11, 2007 SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE. 21200 POPLAR WAY. Received report that a red Ford van had been parked at location for two weeks. The van had a window broken out and a plate missing. Investigation found the van belonged to 52 year of age male from Shoreline, who stated the vehicle had broken down there and he planned to retrieve it soon. He was advised to report the stolen plate. THEFT. 23300 block 28 Ave W. 53 year of age white male from Brier reports he witnessed his weed whacker stolen from the front of his garage by a male that drove away in a Verizon vehicle. Subject later identified as 58 year of age male from Bothell, who confessed and returned the weed whacker. She was transported to hospital for evaluation and treatment.
