He confronted the driver then reached for him through the window. The driver then accelerated dragging him approximately 20-30 feet. No injuries reported. Area checked for suspects with negative results. JANUARY 30, 2008 TRAFFIC. 21200 block of Poplar Way. 20 year of age white male from Bothell driving a 1997 Mercury Tracer was stopped as record check revealed the registered owner to have a suspended license with two prior convictions. Driver identified as registered owner, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and booked into jail. ATTEMPTED FRAUD. 23700 block of 29 Ave W. 49 year of age Hispanic male from Brier reports receiving phone calls from an unknown female who said she was with the Sears Company. She stated he owed $4000.00 and needed his personal information to make sure the account gets taken care of. Investigation pending. THEFT OF MAIL. 22800 block of 24 Av W. 48 year of age white female from Brier reports a package was supposed to be delivered by 01/25/08, but she never received it. It appears it was stolen from the front of her porch, as track of box showed it had been delivered. JANUARY 31, 2008 TRAFFIC. 3500 block of 228 St SW. 20 year of age Hispanic female from Brier driving a 1997 Ford Taurus was stopped as record check revealed the registered owner to have a suspended license. She was identified as registered owner, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. Vehicle released to a third party. Subject was gone on arrival. Summons issued. JANUARY 25, 2008 DRIVE BY SHOOTING. 2400 block of 234 Pl SW. 21 year of age white male from Brier reports he found bullet holes in the bumper of his 2003 BMW. Search of the area where his vehicle had been parked located bullet casings. Canvas of neighborhood found shots had been heard in the late night hours. Pending investigation. JANUARY 28, 2008 DUI / COLLISION / TRAFFIC. 22800 block of Locust Way. 27 year of age white male from Bothell driving a 2006 Saturn Ion failed to negotiate a turn which caused him to leave the roadway, striking a utility pole then coming to rest down an embankment. Odor of intoxicants detected on or about the driver and record check revealed his driving status suspended. Further investigation resulted in the issuance of a citation for Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Driving While License Suspended 2nd Degree. No injuries reported. Vehicle was towed from the scene. She has not provided any information. Pending investigation. JANUARY 24, 2008 TRAFFIC COMPLAINT. Poplar Way and Larch Way. Dispatched to check for a vehicle traveling on the roadway leaking fluid. The vehicle was located parked and unoccupied. Unable to locate the driver or owner. Check of vehicle license plate found it to be expired in 2004, however displayed a 2008 vehicle tab. Middle School Principal reports four students, ages 13 to 14, were found smoking suspected marijuana on school property. Suspected marijuana and paraphernalia was confiscated. All students were issued disciplinary action by school authorities. The 17 and 18 year of age witnesses attempted to push the vehicle up a gravel drive to a flat area. The vehicle was too heavy for them to push and the unlicensed 15 year of age driver from Everett did not step on the brakes which caused the vehicle to roll down the driveway striking a garage door and a motorcycle inside the garage. No injuries reported. BURGLARY / MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 23200 block of 29 Av W. 74 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) attempted to enter his property by attempting to push open a locked and barricaded gate with the possible intent to remove a chipper. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 23600 block of Brier Road. 15 year of age white female driving a 2007 Ford Edge mistakenly pushed on the vehicle accelerator which caused the vehicle to travel backward into a parked 2006 Toyota Tacoma which was then pushed into a structure. The Toyota Tacoma and structure sustained extensive damage. No injuries reported.
