		MAY, 2008 MAY 29, 2008 THROUGH JUNE 1, 2008 MAY 30, 2008 THEFT / MALICIOUS MISCHIEF / HUMANE. 21900 block of Old Poplar Way. Two white females from Seattle, one 31 and one 41 years of age, report they left items in storage at a residence in Brier at permission of the owner. The 53 year of age renter then sold items belonging to them without permission. Further investigation found the residence uninhabitable with abandoned dogs and cats inside. The animals were seized and released to animal shelter. Pending further investigation. WARRANT SERVICE / NARCOTICS VIOLATION. 21200 block of 38 Pl W. 15 year of age white male from Brier was arrested at his arrested for an outstanding warrant. Search of his person located suspected marijuana. The subjects mother then lead officers to marijuana plants which he had been growing in the residence. He was booked into jail for the warrant and Possession of Marijuana. MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 2600 block of Elm Drive. Two white males from Lynnwood, one 37 and one 27 years of age, drove an ATV into a marsh area in a local park causing it to become stuck. They then drove a 1997 Ford truck onto the grass area of the park in attempt to retrieve the ATV which caused extensive damage to the park. MAY 31, 2008 AGENCY ASSIST. 22800 block of 29 Av W. Assisted aid with a 30 year of age white male from Brier who had taken too much prescription medication. JUNE 1, 2008 MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 23200 block of 34 Av W. 48 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) knocked down their mailbox stand. DOMESTIC ASSAULTS - 0 DOMESTIC DISPUTES (No Assault) - 0 INFRACTIONS ISSUED - 8 WRITTEN WARNINGS - 2 MAY 27, 2008 THROUGH MAY 29, 2008 MAY 27, 2008 TRAFFIC. 21400 block of Poplar Way. 41 year of age white female from Seattle driving a 1998 Ford Windstar van was stopped for expired vehicle license. Further investigation found her driving status to be suspended with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. She was arrested on the warrant and released to the jurisdictional agency. Citation for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and infraction for Expired Vehicle License prepared for issuance through the court. The vehicle was left legally parked at the scene. HUMANE. 3100 block of Russet Road. 13 year of age Hispanic male from Mountlake Terrace reports while riding his bike a Pit Bull type dog jumped over its fence and chased him. The dog's 18 year of age owner from Brier was contacted and informed of ordinance requirements. TRAFFIC. 22700 block of Brier Road. 20 year of age white female from Lynnwood driving a 1997 Ford Mustang was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate showed the registered owner's driving status suspended. She was identified as the registered owner, cited for Driving While License Suspended 2nd Degree and released. The vehicle was released to a third party. MAY 28, 2008 THEFT / FORGERY. 23000 block of 29 Av W. 50 year of age white male from Brier reports he placed a check in his mailbox for outgoing service. Upon return home a message from a bank was on his recorder informing him a subject attempted to cash his check. The subject fled the bank while the teller was phoning the victim. It appears the suspect stole the check from his mailbox, altered the amount and payee, and attempted to cash it. Pending investigation. TRAFFIC. 21400 block of Poplar Way. 37 year of age white male from Everett driving a 1984 Ford Bronco was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate showed Report of Sale. Report of Sale records showed the purchaser's driving status suspended. He was identified as the purchaser, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and booked into jail. The vehicle was left securely parked at the scene. DISTURBANCE. 22800 block of 27 Ave W. 43 year of age white male from Brier became angry at a 74 year of age white male from Edmonds who had parked on the right of way in front of his residence. The Brier man believed this was his property and used his vehicle to block the Edmonds man's vehicle. He was contacted and informed his vehicle would be impounded if he did not allow the Edmonds man to leave in his vehicle. Settled by contact. THEFT. 3100 block of Russett Road. 62 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) removed the passenger side rear wing window from her 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier. Approximately $270 value. TRAFFIC. 3500 block of 228 St SW. 34 year of age black male from Brier driving a 2000 Dodge Caravan was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate showed the registered owner's driving status suspended. He was identified as the registered owner, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. The vehicle was left legally parked at the scene. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 3500 block of 228 St SW. 17 year of age white male from Brier driving a 1996 Nissan Sentra failed to yield the right of way to a 54 year of age white female from Brier driving a 1996 Volvo 960 causing a collision. No injuries reported. Both vehicles driven from the scene. In addition, his license was suspended in the 3rd degree. He was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and booked into jail for the warrant. Vehicle released to passenger. ASSAULT. 21300 block Oak Way. 48 year of age white female from Brier reports that during a verbal altercation with her sub-contractor, he pushed her down onto some building material piled up in the garage. Dispute settled between parties with no law enforcement action. MAY 25, 2008 MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 3900 block 236 St SW. Unknown person(s) pulled a City of Brier emergency access only sign out of the ground. Estimated cost to repair $100.00. VEHICLE THEFT. 2400 block Nike Manor Rd. 37 years of age white female from Brier reports her 2000 Ford F150 truck stolen from her driveway during the night. Investigation found the vehicle had been repossessed for delinquent loan payments. VEHICLE PROWL / THEFT. 21200 block 38 Pl W. 48 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered her unlocked 1998 Ford Contour during the night and stole her stereo. VEHICLE RECOVERY. 3700 block 204 St SW. 32 year of age white male from Lynnwood driving a 2004 Ford F150 was stopped as check of vehicle plate showed it stolen out of Everett. Driver denied knowledge the vehicle was stolen. Investigation found passenger, 32 year of age white male from Lynnwood, was in possession of the vehicle earlier in the evening. He was booked into jail for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and for an outstanding felony warrant. MAY 26, 2008 MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 23900/24000 block Brier Rd. 38 year of age white male and 49 year of age white female, both from Brier, had their wooden sign posts broken off sometime during the night. Damage for each sign is approximately $25.00. MAY 27, 2008 DEATH INVESTIGATION. 3100 block 238 St SW. 82 year of age white male from Brier found deceased in his home from natural causes. Investigation found the box had been temporarily removed for utility construction purposes. She was identified as the registered owner and arrested. Search of the vehicle located suspected marijuana which was confiscated for destruction. Assisted 35 year of age white male with keys locked in his Dodge Dakota truck. TRAFFIC. 228 St SW at 228 Pl SW. 23 year of age white female from Everett driving a 1996 GMC Jimmy stopped for not wearing seatbelt. Odor of marijuana detected, however, search of driver, passenger and vehicle did not locate anything. Both released from the scene. MISSING / ENDANGERED PERSON. 2000 block 212 Pl SW. 62 year of age white female from Seattle reports her brother, 47 year of age white male from Brier, missing and possibly suicidal. She states he requires daily dialysis treatment, and left without medications. Note was left by missing indicating his final wishes. Suspect(s) also entered her unlocked vehicles and removed clothing and phone headset. HUMANE. 2700 block of 234 St SW. 62 year of age white male from Brier reports his neighbor's dog barking causing a nuisance. Nothing heard upon arrival. Attempted contact with owner with negative results. MAY 17, 2008 VEHICLE PROWL. 2000 block of 214 St SW. 57 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry into his 1999 Southwind motorhome parked at his residence. Suspect(s) attempted entry by removing the window molding and forcing the door lock mechanism. HUMANE. 23000 block of 35 Av W. 41 year of age white female from Brier reports a dog at large in the roadway. They returned the dog to its residence where the parties engaged in a verbal dispute. Officer informed the dog's owners of ordinance requirements and understanding was acknowledged. MAY 18, 2008 SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE. 21500 block of 21 Av W. 23 year of age white female from Brier reports she observed a silver vehicle she did not recognize pull into her neighbor's driveway. A white female subject then exited the vehicle and tested the doors on the resident's 2001 Dodge Ram pickup parked in the driveway. The female then returned to the vehicle and left the area. Investigation found the person was a friend of the resident. HUMANE. 23300 block of 38 Pl W. Numerous reports received of a dog at large in the area acting in a vicious manner. Officer responded and observed the dog at large. Attempts to contact the 52 year of age white female owner were made with negative results. A neighbor assisted in capture of the dog and placed it in the owner's garage. Infraction prepared for issuance for Dog at Large. Due to the content of the email, he suspects possible prostitution occurring. Investigation found no evidence of prostitution. Upon contact with the driver the odor of marijuana was detected. Search of his person located suspected marijuana. Search of the vehicle located numerous pieces of paraphernalia. He was cited for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia and released. MAY 7, 2008 MISSING PERSON. 22300 block of 32 Av W. 39 year of age white female from Brier reports her 16 year of age daughter runaway. She was later located and found to be safe. ASSAULT. 3200 block of 227 St SW. Two white males from Brier, ages 14 and 15, report they were assaulted by an unknown subject while walking from Mountlake Terrace High School to Brier-Terrace Middle School. The suspect pushed one of the boys down and struck the other in the face. None of the witnesses could identify the suspect. MAY 8, 2008 TRAFFIC COLLISION. 3300 block of 228 St SW. 17 year of age white male from Brier driving a 1992 Honda Prelude struck the rear end of a 2002 Dodge Caravan driven by a 54 year of age white male from Mountlake Terrace. No injuries reported. ARSON. 3800 block of 219 Ct SW. Assisted the Fire Department with an Arson investigation in which unknown person(s) lit a chain link fence with plastic inserts on fire. Dispatched to complaints of loud music in the early morning hour. Area checked and source pinpointed. The 55 year of age white male resident was cited for noise ordinance violation. FIGHT. 22200 block of Brier Road. Two 13 year of age students engaged in a physical altercation. Punishment was dispersed by the school authorities. No further action taken. TRAFFIC. 3500 block of 228 St SW. 30 year of age white female from Everett driving a 2000 Honda Accord was stopped as record check on the vehicle license plate showed the registered owner's driving status suspended. She was identified as the registered owner and arrested. Search of vehicle located paraphernalia and suspected marijuana which the 30 year of age white male passenger admitted belonged to him. The driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. The passenger was released without charges. The paraphernalia and marijuana was seized for destruction.
