RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY. 23600 block of Brier Rd. 39 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown suspect(s) entered the rear door of his residence by kicking in the door and stole tools, a television, multiple video games, DVD movies and other items amounting to over $4000.00.

HARASSMENT. 2220 block of Brier Rd. 49 year of age white male from Brier arguing with school officals over the suspension of his son. Settled by contact.
CIVIL. 21500 block of Elm Dr. Assist 65 yoa black female from Brier with custodial dispute.
POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY. 22200 block of Brier Rd. 12 year of age juvenile male found to be in possession of a cell phone another student had reported stolen earlier in the day. Discipline handled by school authorities.
TRAFFIC. 21200 block of Poplar Way. 20 year of age black male from Marysville driving a 1993 Honda Accord stopped as computer check showed his license suspended. He was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. Vehicle left legally parked - Impound Waiver signed.
TRAFFIC. 21200 block of Poplar Way. 21 year of age white female from Brier driving a 1986 Volkswagon Jetta stopped for defective headlight. Computer check of plate showed vehicle had sold 121909. Driver identified as current owner of vehicle and cited for Failure to Transfer Title Within 45 Days. Verbal warning given for the equipment violation.

TRAFFIC. 22200 block of Brier Rd. 28 year of age white male from Brier driving a 2008 Ford Mustang stopped as computer check revealed the registered owner to have a suspended license. Driver identified as registered owner. He was unable to provide proof of liability insurance. He was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and No Insurance and released. Vehicle left legally parked at scene - Impound Waiver signed.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE. 22500 block of Locust Wy. 18 year of age white male from Woodinville reports the catalytic converter to his 1994 Toyota 4-Runner had been stolen while parked in the driveway of his boss's residence. No suspect information.
ASSAULT / THREATS. 22200 block of Brier Rd. 13 year of age female from Mountlake Terrace reports she was assaulted and threatened by another student at school. Report for documentation in case there are further occurrences.
ASSAULT / JUVENILE. 22200 block of Brier Rd. 13 yea of age asian male from Brier reports another student, 13 year of age male from Mountlake Terrace, poked him in the ear with a stick causing damage to his eardrum. Charges pending.
INFORMATION. 23800 block of 32 Ave W. Vehicle stopped as it was associated with an incident in Lake Forest Park in which a male reported an unknown male subject had brandished a gun at him. The three male occupants, ages 16-18, and vehicle searched for weapons. A box of 22 caliber un-fired cartridges located in back seat. Two of the subjects indicated they had nothing to do with the earlier incident. One declined to answer questions. Information forwarded to Lake Forest Park for further investigation.
TAKING MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT PERMISSION. 23900 block of 27 Pl W. 57 year of age white male from Brier reports his 21 year of age daughter drove off in his vehicle after he told her she could no longer drive it. Vehicle was later returned; no charges filed.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 24000 block of Brier Rd. 63 year of age white male from Brier driving a 1989 Chevy S10 pickup quickly stepped on his brakes to avoid a dog or coyote in the roadway, but accidently pressed the accelerator, causing his vehicle to jump a curb and strike a fence and another vehicle on private property. Both vehicles appeared to have been totaled.

TRAFFIC COLLISION. 3400 block of 228 St SW. 68 year of age white female from Brier driving a 2009 Hyundai failed to yield the right of way to a 1995 Ford Explorer causing a collision. No injuries reported.

TRAFFIC COLLISION. 2900 block of 228 St SW. 58 year of age white female from Brier driving a 2007 Toyota Avalon backed into a parked city vehicle causing damage to her vehicle. No injuries reported.
THEFT. 22200 block of Brier Road. 13 year of age white female from Brier reports someone took her Ipod from her backpack. Pending investigation.
ASSAULT. 21800 block of 44 Ave W. 13 year of age white male from Brier reports a 14 year of age white male from Mountlake Terrace burned his hand with a lighter causing scaring.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON. 2700 block of 228 St SW. Officer contacted a subject who had been parked in the parking lot of Brier Park after hours. Subject was identified and released.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON. 3500 block of 228 St SW. Officer observed a 31 year of age white female from Brier staggering onto the roadway. She was provided a courtesy transport to her residence.
ASSAULT. 3600 block of 232 St SW. 12 year of age white male from Brier reports he was assaulted by three unknown teenage males. Pending investigation.
PROPERTY DAMAGE. 21200 block of Poplar Way. 24 year of age white male from Bow reports during the repossession of his excavator, the city roadway became damaged. He was advised the matter was civil.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 24000 block of 29 Ave W. 57 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) spray painted graffiti on the roadway, trees and city signs.
TRAFFIC. 2400 block of 228 St SW. 18 year of age white male from Tacoma driving a 1999 Honda Civic was stopped for speeding. Computer check on his driving status showed it suspended. He was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. The vehicle was released to a third party.
TRAFFIC. 22800 block of Brier Road. 62 year of age white male from Lynnwood driving a 2002 Ford Ranger was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate showed the registered owner's driving status suspended. He was identified as the registered owner, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and No Insurance and released. The vehicle was left parked at the scene.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 22900 block of 35 Ave W. 56 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) in the roadway possibly drinking alcoholic beverages. The subjects were gone on arrival. Check of the area for suspects located a vehicle which had been covered in shaving cream and chocolate syrup. The owner believed the individuals were co-workers and did not wish to pursue charges.

Minor in Possession. 23000 block of 34 Av W. 27 year of age white female from Brier reports a juvenile male crouched in her yard drinking from an open bottle of wine. Juvenile then went to a nearby residence. Juvenile located at residence, and admitted he had been drinking the wine. Juvenile released to guardian. Case forwarded to Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 23800 block of 29 Av W. 47 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) spray painted graffiti on her camper parked in front of her residence.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY. 3300 block of 238 St SW. 42 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered her residence and stole two bottles of wine, some vodka, and a pair of earrings. It appeared entrance was made through the rear French doors.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY. 23000 block of Brier Rd. 27 year of age white female from Brier reports her sundeck broken into. She suspects an acquaintance that had recently been kicked out. Nothing appeared to have been stolen.
TRAFFIC. 22800 block of 32 Av W. 21 year of age black female from Brier driving a 1995 Toyota Camry stopped as check revealed the registered owner to have a suspended driving status. She was identified as the registered owner and cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree.

TRAFFIC. 22800 block of Brier Rd. 24 year of age white female from Everett driving a 1993 Ford Explorer failed to come to a complete stop at stop sign. Further investigation revealed her driving status suspended. She was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. Vehicle driven from scene by licensed passenger.
RUNAWAY / TOBACCO VIOLATION. 22800 block of 32 Av W. Officer observed juvenile male from Mountlake Terrace smoking a cigarette. He knew the juvenile from prior contact to be 15 years of age. Cigarettes were confiscated. He was found to be a missing person out of MLT. He was transported to his residence and released to family member. Case referred to Juvenile Prosecutor for Minor in Possession of Tobacco.
TRAFFIC. 21200 block of Poplar Wy. 21 year of age white male from Everett driving a 1993 Toyota Corolla stopped for expired tabs. Computer check revealed her driving status suspended. She was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree, issued written warning for expired tabs, and released from scene. Vehicle Impound Waiver signed.
INFORMATION. 22800 block of 32 Av W. Vehicle stopped for defective taillight. Check revealed registered owner to have an several outstanding warrants. Driver was not the registered owner. He was verbally warned for the equipment violation and released.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES. 22800 block of 24 Ave W. 50 year of age white female from Brier reports a white male subject came to her door delivering a phone book. The subject asked her son his name which she thought was strange as this is not normally the method of phone book delivery. There was only one phone book in the bag which appeared to have been torn from a two phone book wrapper. He was associated with a gray pickup parked in her driveway occupied by a white female. The subject left without further incident. She believes the subjects were casing her residence.
TRAFFIC / WARRANT ARREST. 22800 block of Poplar Way. 24 year of age white male from Edmonds driving a 2009 Hyundai Accent was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate revealed the registered owner possessed two outstanding felony warrants for controlled substance violations and a suspended driver's license. He was identified as the registered owner, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree, arrested on the outstanding warrants and booked into jail.

FRAUD. 2700 block of 232 St SW. 46 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) used her credit card information and purchased items on line. She was advised to report the incident to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center.
FRAUD. 23800 block of Brier Road. 71 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) used his credit card information and made on line charges to Verizon Wireless in excess of $2,000. He was referred to FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center.

ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY. 2900 block of 216 Pl SW. 52 year of age white male from Brier reports his 19 year of age son attempted to enter his residence without permission by removing a back window.
CHILD CUSTODY DISPUTE. 21400 block of Elm Drive. Male subject from San Diego, California, reports his estranged wife took their daughter for visitation to Washington in January and has not returned her. He was advised to pursue the matter in civil court.

ILLEGAL DUMPING. 22000 block of Brier Road. School official reports unknown person(s) dumped yard waste on school property. Area residents had observed a truck dumping the waste but thought it was school employees.
THEFT. 22500 block of 32 Ave W. Resident reports unknown person(s) removed a UPS package from his front porch.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES. 21200 block of Oak Way. 63 year of age white male from Brier reports an unknown male in a black pickup drove up to his house, exited the truck, walked to the front door of his residence, then fled when he saw occupants.
NOISE COMPLAINT / WEAPONS VIOLATION. 3200 block of 238 St SW. Officers responded to a noise complaint. Upon arrival they observed subjects shouting profanities and making threats. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of an 18 year of age white male from Clinton for Carrying a Firearm and Possession of a Weapon. He was booked into jail. The 16 year of age white male resident was cited for Noise Violation.

THEFT. 22000 block of Brier Road. 29 year of age white male from Brier reports a 32 year of age acquaintance from Lake Forest Park took a laptop computer and two I-POD's from him and his roommates. The suspect was located in jail. He admitted to taking the laptop but could not remember what he had done with it. Pending further investigation.
TRAFFIC COLLISION. 21600 block of Poplar Way. 37 year of age black female driving a 1993 Ford Taurus failed to yield the right of way to a 1981 Isuzu pickup driven by a 58 year of age white male from Stanwood causing a collision. No injuries reported. Both vehicles driven from scene.

FRAUD. 23300 block of 28 Ave W. 73 year of age white male from Brier reports telephone scam in which someone claiming to work for the Federal Trade Commission at the Miami International Airport told him he had won $490,000 in a lottery and needed to pay custom fees to release the lottery money. Fees were sent via Western Union, but package never arrived. Total loss incurred over $2,900.00.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. 3900 block of 236 St SW. Officer observed two male subjects parked in a 1995 Ford Areostar van with dome light on. He contacted the two 21 year of age occupants from Brier. Odor of marijuana detected. Search of vehicle located suspected marijuana. Both subjects were released pending further investigation.
