TRAFFIC COLLISION. 3000 block of 228 St SW. 54 year of age white female from Lake Forest Park driving a 1990 Ford Clubwagon failed to stop striking the 2006 Ford Escort driven by a 58 year of age white female from Shoreline that was in front of her. She was cited for Following Too Close.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES. 2800 block of 216 St SW. 56 year of age white male from Brier reports a 62 year of age acquaintance came to his residence acting in a strange manner and inquiring about firearms.
HUMANE. 21500 block of Poplar Way. Officer dispatched to horse at large. The miniature horse was corralled pending owner locate. Later in the day the 56 year of age owner from Brier contacted the police department and the horse was returned to him.

TRAFFIC. 21400 block of Poplar Way. 60 year of age white male from Lynnwood driving a 1990 Chevrolet van was stopped for expired vehicle license. Computer check on his driving status showed it suspended. He was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. The vehicle was left parked at the scene.

DISTURBANCE. 3400 block of 227 St SW. Dispatched to a fight in progress. Area checked and a 22 year of age black male with a bloody lip was located. He denied any knowledge of a fight and declined aid. Area check for others involved with negative results.
TRAFFIC COLLISION. 21200 block of Poplar Way. 33 year of age female from Seattle driving a 2001 Hyundai pulled from a driveway onto the roadway in front of 1995 Toyota 4-Runner driven by a 20 year of age male from Lynnwood causing a collision. Both vehicles suffered extensive damage. No injuries reported.
LONG BOARDING IN ROADWAY. 2700 block of 236 St SW. Dispatched to call of subjects long boarding in the roadway causing a hazard. Six 17 to 18 year of age white males from Brier and surrounding cities were located and found to be long boarding in the roadway during hours of darkness. Three of the subjects were cited for the violation. All were released without further incident.

FRAUD. 21900 block of 37 Pl W. 49 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) fraudulently purchased musical instruments online using her bank account information. It is unknown how the suspects obtained the account information.
HARASSMENT. 23600 block of 28 Pl W. 28 year of age white female from Brier reports she posted an ad on craigslist offering pet boarding. She then received a phone call from an unknown male subject who wanted her to watch his child and if she did not he stated he would kill the child. Attempted trace with negative results.

DISTURBANCE. 2400 block of 238 Pl SW. Contacted 17 year of age resident who reported he was having a party which had become out of control resulting in subjects arguing. The party was dispersed without further incident.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 2500 block of Elm Drive. 42 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) broke an outside light fixture two nights in a row.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 21400 block of Elm Drive. 42 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) carved racist and obscene remarks on a City park bridge.
HUMANE. 23400 block of 29 Ave W. 44 year of age white female from Brier reported her dog had bitten a 49 year of age acquaintance from Brier who was visiting at her residence. The victim was contacted and declined to pursue charges.

TRAFFIC. 22300 block of Brier Road. 21 year of age Hispanic male from Everett driving a 1993 Honda Civic was stopped for expired vehicle license. Computer check on his driving status showed it suspended. He was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree, Expired Vehicle License and given a written warning for No Insurance. He was released without further incident. The vehicle was left parked at the scene.
DUI. 2100 block of Vine Road. 26 year of age white male from Bothell driving a 1999 Subaru Impreza was stopped for speeding. Odor of intoxicants detected. Further investigation resulted in the issuance of a citation for Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants and an infraction for speeding. He was released at his residence. The vehicle was impounded.

COLLISION. 22700 block of Old Poplar Way. 33 year of age white male from Brier driving a slope mower backed into a city vehicle causing minimal damage. Non-reportable.

THEFT. 2500 block of Nike Manor Road. 31 year of age Hispanic female from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered her back yard and removed a child's bicycle and skateboard.
TRAFFIC. 21400 block of Poplar Way. 38 year of age white female from Mountlake Terrace driving a 2002 Toyota Tacoma pickup was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate showed the registered owner's driving status suspended. She was identified as the registered owner, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. The vehicle was left parked at the scene.

TRAFFIC. 21200 block of Larch Way. Four 19 year of age white males contacted as were observed skateboarding in the roadway causing a traffic hazard.
RESIDENTIAL ALARM / SUSPICIOUS PERSON. 23400 block of 29 Ave W. Dispatched to residential alarm. Check of premises located a 35 year of age white male from Marysville. He said he was contracted by the home owner to paint. He did not have the alarm code and was removed from the premises without incident.
TRAFFIC COLLISION. 22000 block of Brier Road. 67 year of age white female from Brier driving a 2004 Honda Odyssey attempted to pass a 1998 Nissan Sentra driven by a 51 year of age Asian male from Brier when both vehicles collided with each other. No injuries reported.
TRAFFIC. 2700 block of 228 St SW. 22 year of age white male from Edmonds driving a 2004 Toyota Matrix was stopped for defective equipment and registered owner's driving status suspended. He was identified as the registered owner, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. The vehicle was left parked at the scene.

HARASSMENT / THREATS. 2300 block of 229 Pl SW. 83 year of age white male from Brier reports an unknown male has been calling him for the past three months approximately two to three times a day attempting to get him to send him money. He said he told the caller he was not going to send him any money and the caller threatened to kill him and a family member.

AGENCY ASSIST. 5600 block of 233 St SW. Assisted Mountlake Terrace Police with domestic dispute investigation.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 22900 block of Brier Road. 57 year of age white male from Brier reports he found the mailbox stand which holds his and his neighbor's mailboxes broken and leaning against his fence. It is unknown how the damage occurred.

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY. 22800 block of 29 Ave W. Officer observed a silver Honda Pilot vehicle in ditch. Investigation found it to be stolen out of Mountlake Terrace. The owner was contacted and responded to the scene. The vehicle did not appear to be damaged and nothing appeared to be missing. Attempted K9 track with negative results.
VEHICLE PROWL. 3300 block of 238 St SW. 62 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered her unlocked 1987 Toyota Camry and 1987 Volkswagen Van and rummaged through the contents. Both vehicles were parked in the residence driveway. Nothing appeared to be missing.

VEHICLE PROWL / THEFT / MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 23800 block of Brier Road. While on patrol officer heard a loud noise and observed three juvenile male subjects run from a driveway. A 14 year of age white male from Lynnwood was immediately apprehended while the others fled. Residents were contacted and found a window of their 1995 Ford truck had been smashed out and a purse stolen. A K9 track lead to the residence of a 16 year of age white male from Brier who was also arrested. The stolen purse was located and returned to the owner. Both suspects were released to their guardians pending charges.
VEHICLE PROWL. 23800 block of 31 PL W. 49 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered her unlocked vehicles parked in her driveway and rummaged through contents. Nothing appeared missing.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 23800 block of 29 Ave W. 56 year of age white female from Brier reports during the prior night she heard sounds of rocks striking her neighbor's residence and smashing glass. She then observed two subjects leaving the premises.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 24000 block of 29 Ave W. 60 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown persons smashed out the rear window of his 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe which had been parked roadside.
VEHICLE PROWL / THEFT. 23800 block of Brier Road. 41 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered his two unlocked vehicles and removed miscellaneous cash, an axe and cancelled debit card. The axe was later recovered during investigation of a separate incident. Vehicles were parked in his driveway at the time of the incident.

TRESPASSING. 3200 block of 236 St SW. 18 and 19 year of age which male and female were located in a city park after hours. They were given a verbal warning and released.
TRAFFIC COLLISION. 22300 block of Old Poplar Way. 17 year of age white female driving a 1998 Honda Civic was adjusting her rearview mirror and drove off the roadway into a street sign and ditch causing damage to property and her vehicle. No injuries reported.
TRAFFIC. 21500 block of Poplar Way. 46 year of age white male from Kenmore driving a 1997 Saturn was stopped for expired vehicle license and unresolved report of sale. He was cited for Failure to Transfer Title within 45 Days and released.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 23800 block of 29 Ave W. 44 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) threw a rock at his canopy breaking out a side window.
DUI. 19600 block of Highway 99. 28 year of age white female from Lynnwood driving a 2001 Honda Accord was stopped for erratic driving. Odor on intoxicants detected. Further investigation resulted in the issuance of citations for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While License Suspended.

ILLEGAL DUMPING. 24000 block of Brier Way. 72 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) dumped household items along Brier Way. Cleared by City Public Works department.
HARASSMENT. 21900 block of Vine Road. 62 year of age white female from Brier reports a 54 year of age white male from New Mexico harassing her by constantly phoning and emailing her after being requested to cease. Settled by contact.

She signed a Vehicle Impound Waiver and the vehicle was released to a third party.

She was identified as the registered, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree, No Driver's License on Person and No Insurance and released. The vehicle was released to a licensed passenger.

She looked out and observed a male subject wearing a hooded shirt approaching her residence. The neighbor then turned on an outside light and the subject walked to the street meeting up with another subject wearing a hooded shirt. She checked her premises and found no damage. Area check for subjects with negative results.

She was released pending summons from court. She signed a Vehicle Impound Waiver and the vehicle was left parked at the scene.
TRESPASSING. Locust Creek Park. Contacted 18 and 17 year of age male and female subjects parked in park area after closing. Subjects left without incident.

MISSING PERSON LOCATE. 3211 238 St SW. 16 year of age white male from Shoreline was contacted as ran when he observed officers. Computer check showed him to be runaway out of Seattle Police Department. Officer attempted to contact parents with negative results. He was transported and released to Secure Crisis Residential Center staff.
VEHICLE PROWL. 2500 block of 217 Pl SW. 18 year of age white female from Kenmore reports unknown person(s) smashed out the rear passenger door of her 1999 Honda Accord while it was parked on the roadside. Nothing appeared missing.

TRAFFIC. 22800 block of Brier Rd. 47 year of age white male from Kirkland driving a 1990 Nissan Maxima stopped as computer check of license plate revealed the registered owner to have a suspended driving status. Driver not registered owner; however, also found to have suspended license. He was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. Vehicle left legally parked.

TRESPASS. 24000 block of 29 Ave W. 17 year of age white male from Brier reports a 16 year of age white male from Brier at his residence without permission. The suspect was located hiding in some bushes and removed from the premises without incident.
THREATS / FRAUD. 2300 block of 229 Pl SW. 83 year of age white male from Brier reports he received a call in February 2010 from a subject who told him he had won a lottery in Jamaica. He was then instructed to send money to obtain his winnings. He sent approximately $20,000 Western Union to the suspect. He was then advised by Western Union they would not forward any further funds for him as he was being scammed. He then received threatening calls from the initial caller stating he would burn his house down and shoot him if he did not send him more money.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON. 24300 block of 32 Ave W. Dispatched to a suspicious person call. Officer contacted a 30 year of black male who stated he was moving into a nearby residence.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES. 23600 block of 29 Ave W. 17 year of age white female from Brier reports subjects possibly burglarizing her neighbor's residence. Residents contacted and reported no loss of property.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 22000 block of Brier Road. 26 year of age white female from Brier reports while driving an unknown object struck the driver's side rear window of her vehicle causing it to blow out. No injuries reported.
TRAFFIC. 228 St SW at 228 Pl SW. 26 year of age white female from Mountlake Terrace driving a 1997 Acura 22CL was stopped for expired vehicle license. Computer check on her driving status showed it to be suspended. She was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and Expired Vehicle License and released.

Child Protective Services requests officer check the welfare of a 13 year of age white female from Mountlake Terrace who's teacher observed bruising on her arms. The girl reported the bruises were caused during a punching game between her and another boy. Settled by contact.
