Commission Chairman Nixdorf called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.

ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioners Nixdorf and Zenk.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: It was requested the approval of the minutes of the November 8, 2004 meeting be set for approval at the March 3, 2005 meeting due to the absence of Commissioner Szalda.

NEW BUSINESS:

A.                  Commissioner Zenk opened for discussion the removal of candidates STOEBNER and ELLRODT from the Entry Level Eligibility List. Civil Service Examiner Halverson explained both candidates have been hired by other jurisdictions and no longer wish to remain on the Brier Police Department Entry Level List. Commissioner Zenk moved and Commissioner Nixdorf seconded to remove candidates STOEBNER and ELLRODT from the Entry Level Eligibility List.

OLD BUSINESS

A.                  Commissioner Nixdorf moved to discuss the status of the new Civil Service Rules. Commissioner Zenk and Nixdorf submitted suggested changes and discussion ensued. Civil Service Secretary Halverson will make the agreed upon changes and submit revised copies to the Commissioners for discussion at the March 3, 2005 Civil Service Meeting.

B.         Commissioner Nixdorf moved to discuss the Physical Medical Examination Requirements.  It was determined the initial concerns have been remedied and further discussion is not necessary.

A.         No miscellaneous business.
