Commission Chairman  Zenk called the meeting to order at 4:34:21 PM   .

ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioners Nixdorf and Zenk.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF AUGUST 22, 2012 SPECIAL MEETING: Commissioner Nixdorf moved and Commissioner Zenk seconded to approve the minutes of August 22, 2012. Motion carried. 

NEW BUSINESS:

A.            CERTIFICATION OF LATERAL ELIGIBILITY LIST

Commissioner Nixdorf opened for discussion the certification of Lateral Officer Eligibility List.

There is one applicant on the list. Commissioners expressed concern as the applicant checked the “No” box indicating he was not over 18 on his application. It was decided the applicant will be given the opportunity to correct and initial correction on his application.

Commissioner Nixdorf moved and Commissioner Zenk seconded to certify Lateral Eligibility list with the stipulation that the original application will be corrected and initialed by the applicant. Motion carried.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:

      A.        CIVIL SERVICE CONFERENCE

      Commissioner Nixdorf attended the conference in September and gave overview of  

      conference. Commissioners recommend budget remain the same for 2013 to  

      accommodate attendance of all Commissioners.

ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Nixdorf moved to close the meeting. Commissioner Zenk declared the meeting adjourned at 4:38:45 PM .
