Annual Tree Lighting
The event followed five days of snow, icy temperatures and the end of the wettest month in the Northwest ever! For our night it was clear, full moon and a temperate 38 degrees - perfect.
Our holiday tree was lit and the crowd was entertained by the choir of Brier Elementary.
Our special thanks to Mary McBride and the choir, Starbucks Coffee, Video Mirage (for Santa's chair), the Mountlake Terrace Fire Department (for Santa's arrival) and Santa Claus (for taking time out of his busy schedule).
Also - thanks to our volunteer Park Board and city members that donate their time to produce this and other events in our parks.
