Chair DeMorett called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to
order at 7:00 PM.

and Councilmember Marley.
Absent: Commissioner Tastad.

APPROVAL

DeMorett opened for consideration approval of the May 18, 2022
Planning Commission minutes. Motion:
Approve the May 18, 2022 Planning Commission minutes, Moved by Commissioner Rosman, Seconded by Commissioner Hanson. Motion
Carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Councilmember
Marley discussed recent City Council activity.
PUBLIC REQUESTS &
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
Chair DeMorett opened the Public Hearing at 7:03 PM, to amend
Brier Municipal Code (BMC) Chapter 14.04 Stormwater Management and Regulations,
file No. CA22-01. Planner Flathman reviewed the proposed changes.
Commissioner Campbell suggested grammar corrections to lines
170-173 and adjusting the formatting to 14.04.140.e.
Commissioner Rosman suggested on line 49 to replace "following"
with "most current", lines 72-73 be removed, line 292 suggested to check
definition of "Pollution-generating pervious surface" and lines 789-797 end
with "final designs of the facilities shall be reviewed by the Geotech".
The Public Hearing closed at 7:42 PM.
Motion: Recommend approval of the
draft ordinance amending Brier Municipal Code Chapter 14.04 Stormwater
Management and Regulations with the following corrections:
1. Line 797 add the wording, "final
designs of the facilities shall be reviewed by the Geotech"
2. Line 172 confirm the
definition of "Impervious Surface" comes from the Stormwater Manual
3. Line 560, "e' shifts to "3"
and the formatting of "1, 2, 3, 4" goes to "a, b, c, d"
4. Remove lines 72-73
5. Line 292 confirm the
definition of "Pollution-generating pervious surface" comes from the Stormwater
Manual,
Moved by Commissioner Rosman, Seconded by Commissioner Parsons.
Motion Carried.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:
DeMorett
asked if the commissions who missed the last meeting, if
they watched the zoom meeting from the May 18, 2022.
ADJOURNMENT:
Chair DeMorett declared the meeting adjourned at 7:47 PM.
